Delete your account & data

NOLA ServeUS, published by PennTech LLC.

You can permanently delete your NOLA ServeUS account and personal data at any time. There are two ways to request it.

Option 1 — In the app (fastest)

Open NOLA ServeUS and sign in.
Tap your profile icon (top right) to open your profile.
Scroll to the bottom and tap “Delete my account.”
Confirm. Your account and personal data are removed immediately.

Option 2 — By email

If you can’t access the app, email report@nolaserveus.com from the address or with the phone number on your account and ask us to delete it. We verify ownership and complete the deletion within 30 days (usually much sooner).

What is deleted

Your profile — name, phone number, email, home address, and profile photo.
Your account and sign-in — you can no longer log in.
Your likes, poll votes, saved items, and community memberships.
Any staff/department/council roles tied to the account.

What is kept (with your identity removed)

Reports you filed with the city remain in the public record — a report to NOLA ServeUS is sent to the city like a 311 call, so the issue itself stays — but it is disconnected from your identity (your name is removed).
Posts and comments you made stay visible so conversations aren’t broken, but they are anonymized — shown as “Former resident,” with your account link removed.

Delete specific data — without closing your account

You don’t have to delete your whole account to remove data:

Delete individual posts — open the post’s menu (•••) and tap “Delete post.”
Edit or clear your profile — in Profile, change or remove your name, address, photo, or email at any time.
Ask us — email report@nolaserveus.com to request deletion of specific data. We verify ownership and complete it within 30 days.

Retention

After deletion we keep only a small, non-personal marker that prevents the deleted login from being reused — it contains no name, phone, email, or address. Personal data is removed from active systems immediately and purged from encrypted backups within 30 days.
